How do I place an order?
Placing an order with us is easy, simple and stress free. If you know what you have in mind and the quantities you want, just simply call, e-mail or drop into the farm anytime during opening hours. If you are unsure, or have no idea on what you want just simply drop into the farm and our staff can assist you with varieties, colours and quantities of what you need.
How much notice do I need to give when placing an order?
Placing an order with us at least two weeks before the date you need them for is ideal for us as it gives us time to process the order properly. If you have missed this date already or forgotten, don’t stress, we can still do our very best to process the order to get the varieties and colours you are after.
I want some flowers open for my special event. When is best to buy them so they are open?
We stock many different varieties, each with its own unique expectancies and specifications. When you should purchase you flowers to be open is entirely dependent on what kind of variety you are wishing to purchase. For tight closed varieties such as lilies, Alstromeria it is best to pick them up a week before to ensure they are fully open. Varieties such as gladioli, tulips, iris’, delphinium, freesias or Lisianthus we recommend purchasing them 4-5 days before your event. Other pre-open varieties like carnations, gerberas, chrysanthemums, roses or orchids, we suggest waiting until 1-3 days before your event as they require little or no time to open up. If there is a variety not listed here please email or phone us and we can give you the information you require.
Do you do boxed arrangements?
At the farm we do not do boxed arrangements. We do however have all the supplies you need to do it yourself and create something truly personal. Alternatively our staff can make you a stunning bouquet in one of our large selection of vases for a small fee.
Do you cater for weddings?
Weddings are very much a specialised field in floristry and therefore as a primary producer and retailer we do not do them. We do however stock everything you would need to be able to create your own dream wedding yourself. Our friendly staff can also help you with selecting the flowers you need and give you the professional, experienced information you require to make the right selections for your big day. Alternatively if you do not wish to do it yourself, we can also certainly point you in the direction of some of the best florists available in the Geelong region and beyond.
Do you deliver to residences?
Unfortunately we do not deliver to residences. The Farm does however have long opening hours to enable anybody to pick up an order at anytime or simply drop in and choose from our wide range of stock.
What do I do if I am unhappy with a recent purchase?
Flowers, much like apples or oranges are a natural product which is very susceptible to weather conditions and are often subject to circumstances that are out of our hands. At Geelong Flower Farm we do our best to deliver you the premium quality that we preach. If however you have purchased flowers from us that didn’t live up to your expectations or you are unhappy with please do let us know as soon as possible. Our staff will be glad to help sort out your issue and come to a compromise. We do not offer refunds although in appropriate cases where purchase evidence is given we will be glad to replace the items you purchased.
I have a business in the local area and want to sell/ display flowers from my own store, Can Geelong Flower Farm supply us?
